Of the 15 nations yet to become a republic, of which Australia is one, six have announced plans to move to a republican model.

Inspiration

Disappointed by the outcome of the 1999 Referendum, paul supports another referendum to establish a republic before the end of the decade. It has been more than a quarter of a century since Australia engaged in this conversation, and the time is right to try again. paul believes the transition to a republic is central to Australia becoming a truly vibrant nation; a land governed by and for the people.
